Home Sweet Home
It is time for this idiotic, self destructive, childish behavior to stop.
I NEVER FINISH AAAAANY THIIIIIIIIING!!!!!
As we all get older we have to confront death more and more frequently.
I guess then this is what led me to wander into the graveyard on the way home today. Here I found graves, not surprisingly, but it struck me how many different types of graves there are. There are grand ones, religious ones, modern ones, traditional ones, well-maintained ones and unloved ones. Some say things like ‘sacred to the memory’ and ‘that they may rest from their labours. Others things like, ‘in loving memory’, ‘devoted wife’ and ‘reunited’.
This got me on to thinking what I would like my grave to say. If you had asked me following a conversation last week I would have told you I’d like it to say some thing like the picture to the left. Now however when I think about it I feel differently. I have drawn it but I will not show you because it is what I aspire to be and if I give you that, well then what do I have left?
But I leave you with this question, what would you like your grave to say about you and are you making progress towards this end goal?
Every thing we’ve created seems to me to be one giant contradiction.
We could all just love ourselves. I am sure that would help more than just ourselves.
I saw a flat slug on my pavement today. Like flat. As in it was a piece of paper or even a drawing on the path.
I wish they hadn’t taken my camera.
